Achondroplasia: abnormal development
of cartilage leading to dwarfism (seen aberrantly in most breeds, but that's
what makes a Basset hound and other achondroplastic breeds long and low).

resulting from an abnormality of the secretory immune system.

Neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis: a

Nodular panniculitis: a skin disease
characterized by nodules of inflammation under the skin

bones are abnormally dense and hard
Overshot jaw: a condition where the upper jaw
is too long for the lower jaw.
Pannus: an immunologic eye disease
characterized by abnormal growth of tissue over the cornea.

Vitiligo: a lack of pigment in the
skin (called vitiligo in man and hypopigmentation in nonhuman animals). Common
in rottweilers, Doberman pinschers, Old English sheepdogs and dachshunds
